Jazzmin Bailey, MS, LPC

Jazzmin, licensed therapist at Willow and Moss Counseling, specializing in trauma-informed therapy, faith deconstruction and play therapy. Smiling female counselor with wavy auburn hair in a warm, welcoming office

Hi! I’m honored to have you here.

However you ended up here, I’m so glad you did. I seriously LOVE this work. There were some twists and turns that led me to becoming a therapist (including a short-lived plan to major in French—ask me about it sometime!), and I’m so grateful to be doing something I care deeply about.

If you’re looking for a therapist who’s warm, honest, direct, and brings humor into the room, we might be a great fit! I show up as my full, real self so you can feel safe doing the same. We’re both just people at the end of the day—no need for pretending. Whether I’m working with a child, teen, or adult, I see therapy as a team effort. You already have a ton of wisdom and resilience—I’m just here to help you tap into it.

I use play therapy and expressive arts techniques when I work with kids because that’s how they naturally process the world. Whether they’re facing big feelings, tough transitions, or hard-to-talk-about experiences, play offers a safe, natural way to express what’s going on inside. I also work closely with caregivers, offering tools, insight, and support so you feel more connected and confident in your parenting. You won’t be left out of the loop—we’re a team.

Teens are honestly one of my favorite age groups to work with. They’re smart, hilarious, brutally honest, and full of insight (and yep, they definitely keep me on my toes). I work hard to create a space where they feel respected, understood, and free to be themselves without pressure to have it all figured out. Our work often explores identity, friendships, family dynamics, school stress, emotions, and how to handle life in a world that can feel like a lot.

With adults, I often support folks navigating life transitions, daily stress, anxiety, and the lasting impact of complex trauma. I also have a special place in my heart for folks navigating faith questions or healing from religious hurt. Whether you’re knee-deep in deconstruction or just side-eyeing your old belief system, I’m here for all of it—with curiosity, compassion, and zero judgment. You don’t have to go through it alone.

I always consider the bigger picture—your family, community, culture, and identity. All of those layers matter and shape how we show up in the world. I believe that healing happens in safe, supportive relationships, so I work hard to build a space that feels grounded and genuine. I pull from different approaches depending on what fits best, and together we’ll make sense of how past experiences might still be showing up in your life now.

If any of this sounds like what you’ve been looking for, I’d love to connect. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, but you don’t have to do it alone. I’ll be in your corner for the tough stuff, the growth, and celebrating the wins (both big and little) along the way. Let’s do this.

Get to know me!

When I’m not doing therapy, you’ll likely find me hanging out with my daughter, partner and friends or spending time outside. I’m a voracious consumer of audiobooks, and I love a good thriller or celebrity memoir (bonus points if it’s read by the author). You can also frequently find me listening to any amount of musical theater, movie soundtracks and 2000s pop punk. I’m a year-round iced coffee drinker except for the occasional (seasonal) peppermint mocha. I’m a huge fan of breakfast foods and anything dark chocolate. I LOVE a good sweatshirt, and you will often find me wearing one (in AND out of the office). I’m an extroverted enneagram type 2 to my core, and I enjoy loving on my people!
